Day 7

It is over.

I'm done. I really am finished. Everything is in place and I have pushed the stone down the hill. The release of potential energy has formed kinetic and it moves. IT was hard but I put it together. I painted a mock wall, formed a Ghost of Starman out of chicken wire, taped it up, painted it, drilled some holes, made a visor and some badges, cooked a visor, stapled it to a wall, and painted some more. And of course rigged it up so it glowed!

It was hard but anything is possible with time, effort, and willpower. What will I do next year? I don't know, I have a few ideas but I'm unsure right now. Maybe something smaller, I'm a bit tired from all this. We shall see. Maybe next year, I'll make a giant Giygas or something!

Day 5 Redux

Wait, what? I thought we were on day 6?

Well I finally found my Day 5 pics :D they were actually on my Dad's computer. Pretty odd. On this day, I stayed up late. REAL LATE. I also melted plexiglass in the oven to make the visor and badges and such. It was hot, painful, tiring, and pretty stupid of me. It got the job done, spick and spam. Then I played with power tools. FUN. This was all at like 2 in the morning. I got the job done. Then I stapled the figure to the wall using a power stapler. Much fun. A very fun, tired night.
